How quickly can I book a helper?
We offer same-day and next-day bookings based on availability. Browse available helpers, pick a time that works, and you're set.
How do I book?
Visit our Book page, choose a helper, select a time, and confirm. The whole thing takes a few minutes. No phone calls required.
Can I book recurring help?
Yes. Once you've had your first booking you can set up recurring sessions — weekly, bi-weekly, or whatever rhythm works for your family.
Can I request the same helper every time?
Absolutely. If you find a helper you love, you can request them for future bookings. Consistency matters — we get it.
Are all helpers background-checked?
Yes — every helper goes through a background check, reference verification, and an in-person interview before joining the village. No exceptions.
Will I know who's coming before they arrive?
Yes. You'll see your helper's name, photo, and a short bio before your appointment. No surprises.
What does a Mother's Helper do?
A Mother's Helper is an extra pair of hands while you're still home. That might look like playing with the kids while you shower, folding laundry, prepping dinner, tidying the living room, or light cleaning — whatever would actually help you exhale.
Are helpers employees or independent contractors?
Our helpers work with Modern Mamas Village as part of our vetted team. We handle the vetting, training expectations, and standards so you don't have to.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is hourly and shown clearly on the booking page before you confirm. No hidden fees, no surprises at checkout.
How do I pay?
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. You'll be charged after your booking is confirmed.
Do you offer a free first session?
Survey participants receive a free first hour of Mother's Helper. If you joined our early-access list, check your account — your free hour is saved there with no expiration pressure.
What's your cancellation policy?
You can cancel up to 24 hours before your appointment at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee. See our Terms & Conditions for full details.
What if I need to reschedule?
Reach out as soon as you know. We'll do our best to find a time that works. The earlier you let us know, the more options we have.
What if my helper doesn't show up?
That's on us to fix immediately. Contact us and we'll either send a replacement as quickly as possible or issue a full refund — your call.
Where do you serve?
We currently serve the Tampa Bay area including Carrollwood, Land O'Lakes, Lutz, New Tampa, Tampa, Wesley Chapel, and Westchase. Not sure if we cover your area? Contact us and we'll let you know.
Are you expanding to new areas?
